John,

The so-called Department of Government Efficiency is carrying out a mass purge of federal workers under Elon Musk and Donald Trump’s orders—gutting federal agencies and putting essential public services at risk!

Let’s be clear: Trump has handed an unelected billionaire the power to cut thousands of jobs while hardworking families are forced to pay the price. The only thing they care about is pushing through their extreme agenda at any cost, and they don’t care who gets hurt in the process.

"In the past month, we've seen an unprecedented attack on our federal workforce through indiscriminate firings of probationary employees. These are patriots who serve our country, but instead of being thanked for their service, they were tossed to the curb and told not to let the door hit them on the way out." - Rep. Sarah Elfreth (MD-03)

Emerge alum Rep. Sarah Elfreth is leading the charge to hold the Trump Administration accountable and stop these reckless firings with the Protect Our Probationary Employees Act. But with a Republican trifecta in Washington, we need to elect more women to Congress who will join our alums to defend their communities.

We can’t afford to wait! Flipping the House in 2026 is our best chance to check Trump’s power and stop these reckless attacks so we can get our government back to working for hardworking people, not just the rich and powerful few.

Will you stand with us and sign our petition so we can show undeniable momentum against Trump’s illegal tirade on federal workers?
