Indivisibles,
We know your notifications are being flooded with asks and updates. We
know that this conversation can be uncomfortable and challenging. But this
moment calls on all of us to be engaged and educated, which is why we
wanted to make sure you know about the workshop we are hosting [ [link removed] ]TONIGHT
at 8 PM ET on relational organizing and allyship. During the workshop,
Indivisibles and allies everywhere will have space to discuss how to
escalate white folks and non-Black people of color from allies to
accomplices, both in casual conversations and in concrete anti-racist
actions within our communities.
Please join us tonight, June 4, at 8 PM EST at
[ [link removed] ]indivisible.org/livetraining or find us live on [ [link removed] ]Twitter and

right before we go live.
We hope you can join us for this important conversation.

Subject: This Thursday -- join us for a workshop on how to do the work to
show up for Black lives.
Indivisibles,
The first week of the month we usually host our monthly National Activist
Call, but this week we want to address all allies in how they can actively
show up for Black lives at this crucial moment. We’re [ [link removed] ]hosting a
workshop this Thursday, June 4th at 8 PM ET to create a space for
Indivisibles and allies everywhere to discuss relational organizing and
the responsibility we have to escalate white folks and non-Black people of
color from allies to accomplices, both in casual conversations and in
concrete anti-racist actions within our communities.
The murder of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man in Minneapolis, and
Breonna Taylor, tragically lost to a no-knock police raid in Louisville,
and several other Black lives taken by police violence is not a new
occurrence in this country. For too long, Black Americans have been alone
in advocating for themselves -- even if it disproportionately exposes them
to mental, physical, and emotional harm. This should not be a fight taken
up only by the most profoundly affected.
This moment calls for an increased initiative on the behalf of allies
everywhere to step up and educate themselves on how to be part of the
solution. Here's how to join on Thursday --
What: Workshop on Relational Organizing Amidst Racial Violence
Who: Indivisible’s Training and Organizing Team
When: Thursday, June 4 at 8 PM EST
Where: [ [link removed] ]Click Here to RSVP for the Event
You can also join us live at 8 PM EST on June 4th at
[ [link removed] ]indivisible.org/livetraining or find us live
on [ [link removed] ]Twitter and [ [link removed] ]Facebook. But make sure to RSVP to get a reminder
right before we go live.
We hope to see you there.
