I’ve said repeatedly that Democrats need to organize around — and deliver
on — a bold, populist, working class agenda in order to win.
Medicare for All must be a cornerstone of our platform.
The current health care situation is completely unsustainable. Corporate
greed has taken over the health care system, and with every visit to the
emergency room, Americans are at risk of being pushed into severe medical
debt.
On top of that, billion-dollar pharmaceutical corporations are raising the
prices of prescriptions and making it harder for everyday Americans to
stay healthy.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Other nations have figured out how to
deliver quality care without breaking the bank, and it’s time for us to
join them.
