As measles continues to spread in western Texas and New Mexico, Health Secretary RFK Jr. has been making dangerous comments that public health experts have said are NOT rooted in science— he’s claimed that poor diet contributes to measles and that vaccines can cause severe illnesses and even death.

It’s safe to say that this is the WORST possible time to have an anti-vaxxer in charge of the U.S. public health system.

I’m proud to have voted against RFK Jr. and I’m proud to stand up against his dangerous, anti-science agenda that puts Americans at risk. Will you chip in $5, $10, or anything you can to fuel my work in the Senate to keep folks safe and healthy?

RFK Jr.’s power and influence could very well worsen an already dire situation. For the first time, we have a Health Secretary who prefers to undermine science instead of champion it. We have someone who could potentially compromise our country’s faith in science.

He’s supposed to work in good faith to protect the health of ALL Americans. Instead, he’s chosen political ideology and is prioritizing Republican misinformation talking points over science. And the American people could very well pay the price.
