Hi Friends,
I voted against the continuing resolution forced on this country by
Republicans in Congress. Not only did it make drastic cuts that would take
away services Vermonters rely on, it gave new, unprecedented power to
President Trump.
President Trump has already violated the law many times and is actively
trying to take away the checks and balances our democratic system is built
on. Republicans should be holding him accountable as is our job in
Congress, but instead they’re letting him do it.
As many of you know, I’m generally an easygoing person. But I got fired up
about this. Take a watch below.

This is about more than just ideology or party. It’s about the fact that
America doesn’t have a king, but that’s what Trump is trying to make
himself.
I won’t stand for it.
I’ll keep fighting for our democracy.
