Honorees & Special Guests

Dr. Tiffany Hailstorks will receive the 2025 Tiller Advocacy Award for her tireless advocacy work dismantling barriers to reproductive health, rights, and justice in Georgia.

Dr. Hailstorks is an Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine and Director of the Complex Family Planning Division, and an academic clinician and reproductive health researcher. She also works as an abortion provider and physician advocate at Feminist Women’s Health Center, a nonprofit organization in Georgia that directly provides reproductive health services and upholds the tenets of reproductive justice through organizing and advocacy. Within the health center, she serves as medical director of abortion services and is committed to providing equitable care that is evidence-based and patient-centered. She serves as a commissioner for the Atlanta Reproductive Justice Commission, where she leverages her expertise to promote community engagement, expand access, and create resources to support people who are impacted by restrict legislation and policy.

Dr. Hailstorks is a member of PRH Leadership Training Academy Class of 2019.

Dr. Jennefer Russo will receive the 2025 Rashbaum Leadership Award for her longstanding dedication to expanding abortion access as a physician, educator, and advocate in California.

Dr. Russo, Section Chief for Complex Family Planning, Gender Health, and Justice at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services’ CARE121 abortion access program, is a complex family planning board certified obstetrician/gynecologist. She has dedicated her career to the care of the underserved and has served in leadership roles at Planned Parenthood affiliates, county hospitals, federally qualified health clinics, and a variety of other organizations. Dr. Russo is also DuPont Clinic Los Angeles’ Executive Director. In that role, she has led the organization’s challenging efforts to open an all-trimester abortion clinic in Los Angeles and expand access to later abortion care through advocacy and operational support to providers.

Dr. Russo is a member of the PRH Leadership Training Academy Class of 2012.

John Oliver is a writer, comedian, and host of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

John Oliver is an Emmy and Writer’s Guild award-winning writer, comedian and host of the HBO show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver . From 2006 to 2013 Oliver was a correspondent on The Daily Show, winning three Primetime Emmy’s for his writing, going on to then guest-host the show in 2013.

His debut stand-up special John Oliver: Terrifying Times , followed by hosting four seasons of his own stand-up series John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show for Comedy Central. On his occasional breaks from television Oliver returns to his first love of stand-up.

As an actor, Oliver was a regular guest on The Horne Section TV Show and NBC sitcom, Community (2009-2014), as well as voice acting in The Lion King (Disney) and Rick and Morty, Danger Mouse, The Smurfs 1&2, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons. John was also co-host on the weekly satirical podcast The Bugle until 2015.
