When we launched this petition, I thought CARA—the Motion Picture Association’s rating board—would listen. I thought they’d respect the thousands of parents who simply want a warning before LGBTQ content is slipped into their child’s shows.
I was wrong.
CARA is supposed to be an independent body, but guess what? They don’t even have a working phone number. We tried for months to reach someone—anyone—inside their office. Nothing. Even when we called the Motion Picture Association (MPA) headquarters in Washington, D.C., they couldn’t locate a direct number for CARA.
They are hiding from parents like you and me.
If they won’t answer the phone, we’ll show up in person. We are taking this fight straight to California, Washington, D.C., Florida, and Texas—where the MPA’s offices are located across the country. We are going to bring this battle to their doorstep.
But we need your help to fund this next step.
They want to keep us quiet. But we are mama bears, and we are fighting for our children.
Hollywood, Netflix, and Disney have made their agenda clear. They are sneaking LGBTQ content into kids’ programming while refusing to give parents a warning. They won’t let us opt out.
We already confronted CARA—and they rejected our petition outright. Now we know why.
CARA is not independent. It’s a puppet of the Motion Picture Association, and the elite content creators who do not respect your rights as a parent.
The MPA can fix this. CARA, an in house committee, has the power to add an LGBTQ content warning—just like they do for name-calling, crude humor, and mild violence. But they won’t do it unless they feel the heat.
We’re taking the fight directly to their offices—but we can’t do it without you.
