The Week in Review
Happy Sunday!
I hope you had a wonderful week. I am grateful to serve you all in the 119th Congress. Read below to see what I’ve been working on this week.
Demanding FBI Investigation Into Domestic Terror Threats
I led a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Kash Patel requesting an investigation into the incitement of, and acts of, domestic terrorism by the radical Left.
Elon Musk and Tesla dealership and Tesla car owners have been threatened, harassed, and attacked in recent weeks. Attorney General Bondi has made arrests of some of these criminals.
Some individuals, including United States Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), have encouraged this violence. Activities that appear to be intended to intimidate, coerce citizens, or to influence government policy are considered acts of domestic terrorism.
Recent attacks on Tesla vehicles are increasing in number and escalating in severity, with the sole intention of retribution for Elon Musk and President Trump’s actions.
Recent threats and actions against Tesla dealerships and owners are dangerous and may constitute a federal crime. I know that Director Patel’s FBI will thoroughly investigate these domestic terror threats.
Cosigners of the letter include: Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO), Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN), Rep. Keith Self (R-TX), Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO).
The letter may be read here.
Protecting Taxpayers from Bankrolling Abortion in the State Senate
It was great to be back in the Arizona Senate this week to speak on HB 2547. This legislation will ensure that Arizonans’ taxpayer dollars are never used to fund abortion.
Thank you to my AZ Senate colleagues for having me!

Applauding DOD’s Swift Restoration of Erroneously Removed Details on Navajo Code Talkers
I led a letter to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth thanking him for his department’s swift action in restoring previously deleted information on the legacy of the Navajo Code Talkers.
The Navajo Code Talkers, Navajo men who used their language as a secret code to aid the United States during World War II, transmitted thousands of secure messages in critical battles, preventing enemy forces from intercepting and deciphering American military communications. Information on the Code Talkers was deleted in error following the Department of Defense’s (DOD) compliance with President Trump’s Executive Order banning DEI initiatives by the federal government.
DOD Secretary Pete Hegseth’s purging of DEI propaganda on government websites is in line with the mandate delivered by the American people.
The Department of Defense clarified that the removal was an error. I’m thankful for Secretary Hegseth’s efforts to quickly restore information on their legacy. President Trump and his Administration are working around the clock to fulfill Americans’ mandate.
The letter may be read here.
Meeting with Representatives from the National Association of Realtors
Thank you to the National Association of Realtors for meeting with me today to discuss the Arizona housing market.
There is a lot the federal government could do to drive down housing prices and incentivize new construction. My bill, the HOUSE Act, for example, would rescind expensive Biden-era energy efficiency standards that unnecessarily drive up costs. I will continue working with President Trump to restore our economy and ensure everyone has the opportunity to achieve the American dream.
Hosting the Korean International Trade Association
It was an honor to host members of the Korean International Trade Association in my office this week.
Korean business plays a vital role in strengthening the relationship between Korea and the United States.
I look forward to further improvement of our nations’ relationship.

Meeting with Pinal County Supervisors Goodman and Serdy
It was great to meet with Pinal County Supervisors Mike Goodman and Jeff Serdy. We discussed opportunities for Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, Arizona’s water supply, and improvements to area infrastructure.
Arizona is the best state in the country. I’m thankful for great local leadership!

2025 Military Service Academy Conference
America needs the next generation of men and women who are ready to defend the principles and freedoms of our great nation as Commissioned Military Officers. Students interested in answering this call should consider attending our Military Service Academy Conference, hosted in partnership with the Office of U.S. Congressman and former U.S. Navy SEAL, Eli Crane (AZ-02).
Liaisons from the U.S. Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, and local Reserve Officers' Training Corps programs will be present to discuss the application process and campus life. Staff from both congressional offices will provide information on the nomination application process for the incoming Class of 2030.
