Team,
My name is Matt Longabaugh. I am the field director for the Josh Weil campaign. In case you don't know what a field director does, I oversee and manage the campaigns strategic voter persuasion, voter contact, and get out the vote operations.
I am not being hyperbolic when I say that in less than three months the Josh Weil campaign has cemented itself as the largest Congressional campaign in Florida electoral history.
In the most populous county in our district, Volusia County, we presently trail Republicans in vote-by-mail by just 17 votes. |
Here's what we've accomplished in less than three months:
- Have raised over $10,000,000 dollars and have hired over 150+ paid staff
- Have tens of thousands of volunteers from across Florida and every state in America, and Puerto Rico
- Our volunteers and paid canvassers knock an average of 15,000 doors a day
-
In district voters are saturated with wall to wall television/digital ads, mailers, calls, and text messages
At the end of the day, most people we talk to don’t know that there is a special election going on here. So, the more people we speak to, the more votes we get, which is why we’re going all out with texts, door knocks, calls, even postcards (although the deadline is March 24 to send a postcard that would arrive before E Day). We need people to remember the conversation they had with a real person rather than the boogeyman Jihad Josh that MAGA paints Josh, a public school teacher, as in their ads.
We have 9 days until Election Day. These final days will be a high stakes race to get to as many FL-06 voters before MAGA reaches them and poisons the well. Can I count on you to make a donation -- split with Gay Valimont -- to help us fuel our final push?
