💙 Call for Nominations! 💙

The National Bail Out collective and Dignity and Power Now are working to reunite as many Black mamas and caregivers as possible before Mother’s Day. Too many sit in cages, separated from their families, not because they’ve been convicted of a crime, but because of the unjust money bail system.

💙 “Mama” includes Black cis and trans women, femmes, and gender-nonconforming people who nurture and care for their families and communities. This term is not limited to birth mothers and those whom portray motherhood through a cisgender, straight lens.
