Friend,

For 20 years, People For the American Way Foundation’s Young Elected
Officials (YEO) Network has been training, uplifting, and investing in the
leadership of young progressive elected officials across the country – and
we’re just getting started.

As we look toward our 20th Anniversary National Convening taking place in
just six weeks, we’re reflecting on two decades of transformative impact:
over 1,300 YEOs supported in every state and territory, empowered with the
tools to defend democracy, advance justice, and fight for freedom for all.
And now, at a time when our democracy is facing growing threats – from
disinformation, censorship, and voter suppression – we need bold,
visionary young leaders more than ever.

That’s why we’re asking for your support today. Will you chip in to help
us continue this vital work for the next 20 years – and beyond?

In a rapidly changing world – with rising authoritarianism, growing
inequality, and transformational shifts in technology, climate, and
culture – the stakes are high. But so is the promise of a new generation
of leaders who reflect the diversity of America and are ready to fight for
a better, more inclusive future.

The YEO Network’s 20th Anniversary Convening will bring together hundreds
of YEOs, policy experts, activists, and faith leaders for three days of
immersive issues and skills-based training. It will be a defining moment –
not just for the attendees, but for our entire movement.

Your support helps make this gathering possible. And more importantly, it
supports the young leaders as they do their work year-round – in school
boards, city councils, state legislatures, and beyond.

This isn’t just a conference. It’s a recommitment to building the
leadership we need to meet the moment – and to fight for the future we all
believe in.

P.S. We’ve come a long way in 20 years – but the future of our democracy
depends on what we do next. Your contribution will help us train, support,
and elevate the progressive leaders who are stepping up to lead in a time
of extraordinary challenge and opportunity. [ [link removed] ]Donate now >>

. But know that if you leave, it will be harder for you to stay involved with People For the American Way and continue our
crucial work. PFAW is able to win policy battles and elections, and
counter the Right's extremism and hate, because of dedicated
activists like you, and we're always eager to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for your support.
