ACLJ Persecuted Church Prayer Guide

John,

You’ve heard a lot from us this week about Christians in the Congo and Syria facing brutal persecution and death. We must pray for them.

When we hear horrific news of persecution, we must remember Jesus’ words of comfort:

In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Though Christians suffer in this life, Jesus will one day triumph over sin and death. This truth gives us the grace and comfort to endure. But we must still pray.

Last week the ACLJ appeared at the U.N. Human Rights Council in Geneva to advocate for persecuted Christians. We demanded accountability for the murderers in the Congo and Syria and that Christians be protected from future massacres. Please pray for our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ and for the ACLJ as we defend them.

God Bless,
