They offer an unfiltered, face-to-face forum where people from all walks of life can stand before their elected representative, ask a question, and demand an answer.

At Country First, we believe accountability starts with access. Access is a cornerstone to a healthy and strong democracy.  Representatives are accountable to those they represent and should be accessible.

That’s why we’re launching a video campaign to spotlight the urgent need for in-person town halls—and the responsibility of every Member of Congress to hold them.

Demand your Representative host a Town Hall.

A real Town Hall, in person, not a Telephone Town Hall where the Representative controls the environment.

Movements matter. When people rise, Congress feels it. Organize. Work together. Pressure them.

Call. Email. Show up to their office.

We feel the abuse and sometimes it feels like defeat, but the reality is the system is built to favor us, not government and not a tech mogul.
