Friend -- It's my responsibility as Research Director to share data with Democratic leaders about issues impacting our communities, and unfortunately, Monday's petition condemning Trump's attacks against peaceful protesters failed to receive enough signatures.

Look, we can't ignore what's taking place across America. After Trump told governors to "dominate the streets," state police attacked thousands outside the White House with tear gas, flashbangs, and rubber bullets.

So I wanted to give our supporters another chance to sign this petition. If you oppose Trump's attacks on peaceful protesters, I'm urging you to take action.

Please, we MUST speak out! Will you add your name to condemn Trump's attacks on peaceful protesters and defend our First Amendment rights?

Yes
No
NEEDED: 18 more signatures in D.C.!

We need to know if you support peaceful protesters across America in their pursuit of justice.

Thank you,

Megan

BREAKING: Trump tells governors to "dominate the streets," threatens use of military force on protesters.

We NEED to speak out against Trump's threats. Will you add your name to our massive petition to defend our right to peacefully protest?

Team,

We weren't going to send an email today, but Trump just made an unprecedented and dangerous threat to use military force against protesters. We can't ignore this, and we hope you can't either.

FIRST: Trump demanded governors across the country "dominate the streets" against protesters.

THEN: Trump attacked peaceful protesters with tear gas so that he could pose for a photo op with his Attorney General.

NOW: Trump is threatening to deploy the U.S. Military to, quote, "solve the problem."

This is absolutely outrageous, and we can't stay silent. We're calling on this entire grassroots community to stand united and speak out against Trump's dangerous threats.

This couldn't be more important. Will you add your name to our massive petition to defend our right to peacefully protest?

Yes
No

Thanks, and stay safe.
