Proportional Representation (PR) is an electoral system that fairly allocates legislative seats based on how we the people actually vote. Voters elect representatives to fill multi-seat districts. It makes room for more parties and more viewpoints by awarding seats even to candidates who receive a minority of votes. So, if Greens get 17% of the vote, they would get 17% of the seats. Come learn how PR works and how to make it happen. No more duopoly! No more winner-take-all! Let’s create a government that works to empower all of us, not just the financially-selected few.
