Here’s where the numbers stand in this key county after the initial first 6 hours of early voting: Voter turnout in Volusia County as of 2:20 PM this afternoon Democrats leading in turnout by 645 votes in a county Trump carried by 60% is unheard of. We are also performing extremely well with independent voters so our lead may even be bigger. Volusia County which includes Daytona Beach is our largest and most populated county in FL-06. Our path to victory is contingent upon getting out the vote here so while a great early sign 645 votes is way too close for comfort.
