What Exactly is a Doula?A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous educational, emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy, labor and delivery. They empower families with knowledge about medical interventions, comfort techniques and patient rights while creating safe, memorable birthing experiences.

Direct Family Support: Through our Healthy Parents & Babies program, we provide in-home and virtual support to pregnant people and families with children up to age 3 in under-served Chicago communities.

Community Partnerships: Our Home Visiting & Doula Network collaborates with agencies across Illinois, sharing expertise and expanding our reach.

Professional Development: We offer training and resources to over 300 programs nationally through our professional education platform called "The Essentials of Home Visiting.”
