John, it’s Lt. Governor Aruna Miller. When Wes and I ran for office, we did so with one goal in mind: Building a stronger Maryland.

That important work doesn’t just stop because of the chaos coming out of D.C. In fact, it is even more important.

With 5.3% of Maryland workers employed by the federal government, I am sure many of you know someone who has been impacted by the Trump administration’s layoffs.

Wes and I are supporting federal workers with the opportunities and resources they need during these challenging times.

We expanded the Maryland Public Servants Resource Website, streamlined the process for displaced workers to be recruited and hired, and announced recruiting initiatives and hiring fairs. It’s just the start of what will make Maryland stronger.
