I have huge news for you, John.

Our race has officially been added to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) Frontline program for next year’s election.

The Frontline list represents the Democrats who are considered most at-risk in the coming election cycle. That makes CA-27 a must-win in our shared fight to retake the House.

Republicans are coming at us with everything they’ve got, and I’m already an early target for super PAC attacks. Now that I’m officially on the Frontline, will you rush in $55 to my campaign and California Dems to defend this seat?

As a reminder, I was one of only a few Democrats to flip a Republican-held seat in November’s tough election. The GOP threw millions behind my opponent, but the power of our grassroots movement prevailed.

Flipping this seat was one challenge. Holding it in 2026 will be my toughest and most important election ever. Republicans know we’re at our most vulnerable as first-term, newly-elected members. We’re expecting a flood of outside spending as early as this year.

Defending this seat gives us our best chance to flip the House, put a lasting check on this reckless administration, and begin making real progress for the American people – but I can’t do this alone:
