Why we're closed today.

Hey John,
In solidarity with our allied civil rights organizations, Generation Progress will be closed today, June 4, to observe a National Day of Mourning. We mourn and commemorate the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Dreasjon “Sean” Reed, Tony McDade, and others who have lost their lives to police violence.
In these tragic times, it can be difficult to know what steps you can take to affect positive change in your community and nation. Young people around the country, particularly Black people, Indigenous people, and people of color, continue to feel immense pain and stress. Millennials and Generation Z are the most diverse generations that the country has ever seen—and that is why we are at the frontlines of this fight. We're in it with you.
We're offering this resource guide if you find it helpful today. [[link removed]]
