Team, it’s Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.

For two months, we’ve watched the Republican trifecta in Washington do everything in its power to rip away freedoms from millions of Americans.

And while my fellow Democratic governors and I have rolled up our sleeves to safeguard these freedoms, make no mistake: this fight won’t be easy – and it can’t be won without your help. ​​So I’m asking: will you chip in $3, $6, or whatever you can right now to help support the DGA’s work of electing Democratic governors this November, in 2026, and beyond? With 38 critical races on the ballot, there’s no time to waste.

Team, extremists in Washington want to gut Social Security and Medicare, eliminate the right to choose, and give even more tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy – all while working families are forced to foot the bill. And over the past two months, they’ve recklessly attempted to put these plans into action.

Luckily, Democratic governors nationwide immediately stood up to act as the last line of defense against these far-right policies – like my friend Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who signed 16 bills expanding access to contraception and removing barriers to reproductive care, or DGA Chair Gov. Laura Kelly, who’s working to expand Medicaid and fully fund public schools.

And as Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, I’m working every day to expand opportunity across the state, grow our economy, lower costs for working families, and support Pennsylvania’s main streets and downtowns.

But you know as well as I do, team: There are many politicians who would love nothing more than to see us fail.
