TELL CONGRESS: Musk could soon grab billions in federal dollars allocated
for rural broadband access — making himself richer and providing worse
internet access for millions. Sign the petition: Stop Musk’s corruption
and protect broadband access!

Hi,

Elon Musk is trying to get Starlink a chunk of a $42.5 billion federal
initiative for high-speed rural broadband internet access despite worse
outcomes for the taxpayers funding the effort.

Musk’s companies already have tens of billions in government contracts
despite his massive conflicts of interest now that he’s a central part of
the Trump admin. Musk was recently hit with a formal conflict of interest
complaint over a deal between Starlink and the FAA^2 — and that’s just the
beginning of the corruption.

Congress must protect the American people from Musk’s corrupt dealings.

access and all government services threatened by Musk’s shady dealings.

“Stranding all or part of rural America with worse internet so that we can
make the world’s richest man even richer is yet another in a long line of
betrayals by Washington,” said a top Commerce official about Musk’s
attempt to get the broadband contract for Starlink.^3

The government’s program to expand rural broadband internet is critical to
ensure affordable, equitable, and universal internet access to every
person in America. Musk is now a direct threat to this initiative.

Between SpaceX, Starlink, and Tesla, Musk’s companies have received over
$38 billion in taxpayer dollars. The White House says Musk will police his
own conflicts of interest. That’s not good enough. The American people
demand an end to this corruption.
