Dear Friend, |
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) crafts and enforces environmental protections that safeguard our air and water from pollution. Without a strong EPA, our communities’ health, children’s safety, and natural ecosystems would be at the mercy of corporate polluters who consistently put their own profits above our health and environment. |
As we face the impacts of climate change, extreme heat, large-scale pollution, and biodiversity loss, we need leaders who not only understand the severity of these crises but will take action to address them. |
Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin is overseeing a dramatically reduced workforce while announcing plans to roll back public health and safety regulations and initiatives that are backed by science and the law. Zeldin is abandoning EPA’s mandate to protect the health of the American people and granting the wish list of fossil fuel industries from coal-fired power plants to oil and gas drillers. |
The decisions made by the Environmental Protection Agency directly impact our everyday lives. We must hold Administrator Zeldin accountable and demand he uphold bedrock environmental protections that will safeguard our clean air and clean water and protect our communities from toxic chemicals. |
As Earthjustice advocates, you have joined us in defending policies that aim to build lasting environmental protections, and we cannot let this new administration erase the progress we have achieved together. |
Use your voice and tell this administration that we deserve better than poisoned air and water, more cancer and asthma, or spiraling climate disasters. We expect our elected leaders to protect our health, communities, and planet. |
