We’re on to the general election, Team Abby. We couldn’t have done it without your support.
There will be so much going on in November and so many races on the ballot. So, I want to take a moment to share my thoughts on the one closest to my heart -- my fiancée, Abby’s race.
She’s always a fearless champion for Iowa. And, since being elected 18 months ago, Abby has consistently been one of the most effective Members of Congress. She was the first freshman of the 2018 class, and the youngest woman ever, to pass a bill in Congress, just one month into her term.
Her colleagues trust her leadership too. They admire her passion and knowledge, recognizing this by electing her to the House leadership team as Assistant Whip and chairwoman of her own subcommittee.
And Abby takes on urgent issues with speed, transparency, and dependability. She helped reopen the government, ensure the interests of Iowans are represented in legislation, given a voice, a platform, and her guarantee that Iowan families will always come first.
Abby embodies the kind of representation Iowans deserve, and now that we’re on to the general election -- an important milestone -- we have to ensure she gets reelected.
