Content warning: This email discusses police brutality.
John,
America is facing a wake-up call to the systemic racism that threatens and
kills Black people in this country every day. Protestors have taken to the
streets in Minneapolis, Louisville, and around the country to protest and
grieve more Black lives taken by police brutality.
The lack of accountability of law enforcement is a wide-spread issue in
this country. Police officers kill more people in America than law
enforcement in other Western developed nations.
Real Justice is working to elect district attorneys who will hold police
accountable to the people they serve. Local district attorneys have more
power than any other elected positions to hold police accountable. There
are 2,400 district attorneys across the country, so we’ve got to get to
work now.

Real Justice recruits, equips, and elects progressive prosecutors who are
unafraid of the police. Just this year alone we’ve helped elect
reform-minded prosecutors in Portland and Chicago. But we’re just getting
started! We have a large slate of endorsed candidates who are ready to
take on corruption in law enforcement.

to the people and bring real justice to communities across the country.
Can you chip in now?
Our work depends on supporters like you showing up, speaking out, and
contributing.
Together, we will bring real justice to our communities.
