Yesterday, Donald Trump signed an executive order to abolish the Department of Education.

As a dad, I find it completely unfathomable. What could be worse than taking away funding for our kids’ education?

Here’s what’s at stake: The Department of Education is responsible for giving every student in America the opportunity to learn and grow. They have all kinds of important programs that now face an uncertain future… student loan forgiveness, funding for special needs teachers, education grants, civil rights laws, etc.

I know there is a ton of news right now. But we cannot throw up our hands. If you are a parent, or even just someone who cares about our future, this should disgust you. We must do everything in our power to fight back.
