Hey friend,

I cast my ballot yesterday.

With my two daughters, Sofia and Ava, by my side, we delivered our ballots to a convenient drop-off location near our home.

Voting is at the heart of our democracy, it’s a way in which we get a say in what our systems look like, and who they benefit. But it’s imperative that we vote safely and securely, especially during a public health crisis.

Here's how you can vote safely today:

If you requested an absentee ballot, you should have received it in the mail by now.
If you haven’t received your ballot yet, call the Georgia Voter Protection Hotline at 888-730-5816.

Here’s how to submit your ballot by 7 pm on Tuesday, June 9:

Drop it off at your county registrar office.
Drop it off at your county's ballot drop box location.

I encourage you to vote, and vote early if you can, and if you don’t feel comfortable going in-person, then please drop off your ballot or mail it in as soon as possible. If you need help making a plan to vote, please go to our website for helpful resources.

Your vote is so important. Not just for me, but for the Georgians who don’t have access to a hospital or health insurance. For the frontline workers who are risking their lives during a pandemic to keep you healthy and fed. Your vote means standing for justice for Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd.

Friend, we have a real chance to change history, to take back the Senate, and to finally elect a senator who will be a champion for Georgians. Election Day is just 5 days away -- don’t wait -- join me and make your voice heard now.
