Take a deep breath before you scroll down and read these four words:
Senator Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Take another deep breath before reading these next four:
Governor Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Is the pit of your stomach now filled with dread, despite the deep breaths?
Then let’s do everything we can to keep those titles hypothetical.
Because it’s true: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene says she’s considering running for Senate or governor next year in Georgia.
Yes, that Marjorie Taylor Greene. The same congresswoman who promoted QAnon, heckled a survivor of the Parkland mass shooting, reportedly tried to overthrow the 2020 presidential election results, fanned the flames of antisemitic conspiracy theories, and compared masking requirements during Covid to the Holocaust.
Look: All bets are off in Donald Trump’s Republican Party. We can’t underestimate their extremism. We know that the far right’s strategy of voter suppression is a way to try to avoid accountability for their unpopular views. And we have to fight back.

Now, you might be thinking, “Isn’t Marjorie Taylor Greene too radical to get elected in Georgia?”
But consider this: if Donald Trump endorses her, she could clear the field in a Republican primary. He once asked her at a rally if she’d run for Senate and then said he’d “fight like hell” for her.
Remember: Trump’s handpicked candidate in Georgia’s 2022 U.S. Senate race, Herschel Walker, won the GOP primary and — despite all his controversies — came within around 100,000 votes of unseating Senator Raphael Warnock. That’s about 625 voters per Georgia county.
Not to mention: if MAGA Republicans can ensure a friendlier electorate by suppressing the vote, they won’t have to worry as much about how extreme their candidates are. Even candidates like Marjorie Taylor Greene.
No matter which Georgia Republicans end up running for Senate and governor next year, all of us at Fair Fight will go all out to elect leaders who fight for our freedoms. We’ll get out the vote, make sure voters have the information they need to get to the ballot box, and work to prevent attempts at voter suppression in those elections and beyond.
But we can’t do it alone, and the work has already begun. Will you make a donation today to help defeat anti-democracy extremists, power voting rights champions to victory, and defend the freedom to vote? [[link removed]]
