A leading non-partisan election forecaster just came out with their list of the most competitive swing districts in the country. And to no one’s surprise, CA-47 was on the list.

But here’s what caught my attention.

Their analysis noted that some Democratic political strategists are worried I’m being too outspoken against Donald Trump and Elon Musk — saying my position as a vocal critic of DOGE could make my road to re-election much tougher.

I want to make one thing clear:

I ran for Congress to defend our democracy, hold the line against the MAGA agenda, and deliver for the families across Orange County.

So when I see the world’s richest billionaire and a wannabe-King unconstitutionally going after your healthcare, Social Security, and government agencies — all in an effort to enrich themselves and seize power — I’m going to speak up and speak out.

I know this may place an even bigger target on my back, but I refuse to stand down as our democracy, our rule of law, and our Constitution are under attack. And to be frank: It’s unconscionable that anyone could stay quiet right now.
