Democrat,

The American people are furious. Donald Trump rode into office on empty promises of economic prosperity, yet his reckless policies have delivered nothing but instability, rising unemployment, and a growing sense of betrayal. While he and his billionaire allies dodge responsibility, the reality is clear: the Trump Administration is failing . Polls show that Americans overwhelmingly disapprove of Trump’s economic agenda, and his approval ratings on the economy have hit rock bottom.

Click HERE [[link removed]] to learn more about his declining support.

But this isn’t just frustration, it’s fueling action. Across the country, grassroots movements, labor unions, and community organizers are mobilizing like never before, proving that people power can and will hold the Trump Administration accountable.

Instead of addressing the real crises facing Americans affordability, rising costs, and failing public services —Trump’s administration is using the full force of the federal government to attack their enemies and defend their friends. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s decision to label vandalism against Tesla as “domestic terrorism” is a slap in the face to every victim of extreme violence. Where was this urgency when a neo-Nazi group marched through the streets of Lincoln Heights [[link removed]] or when Trump’s own supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol?

Time and time again, this administration has made it clear: their priority is protecting the rich and not the people suffering under the Trump Administration's failed leadership.

If GOP representatives refuse to hold a town hall and address their constituents' urgent concerns, voters will turn to leaders who will — their Democratic representatives.

Join the NJDSC, Governor Murphy, and confirmed speakers Representatives Pallone, Norcross, Conaway, Menendez, McIver, and Watson Coleman to discuss the real-world consequences of Republicans' cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, Social Security, Department of Education, school lunches, and more.

Remember when Trump said he had “nothing to do with Project 2025?” In his latest move, yesterday Trump issued an executive order to dismantle the Department of Education, and once again, it’s a direct attack on American children and families. Just like his past moves to undermine critical public services, this order is designed to weaken public education, hand control to private interests, and widen inequality. And this is where we are calling upon educators, parents, and anyone who sees this for what is - a travesty – and to join the fight. Join us in exposing it for what it is—a calculated effort to gut educational opportunities for the most vulnerable. No matter how Trump tries to frame this as a "reform," it’s clear: his plan is about pushing an agenda that benefits the wealthy while leaving everyday students behind. Trump's latest executive order may try to alter the course of education, but it’s the people who will ultimately decide the future of our schools.

Claim:
Trump is taking credit for job growth in February, suggesting his administration is responsible for a “brand-new domestic manufacturing boom” and reversing a “major collapse under Biden.”.

The Truth:
That's misleading . The economy added 151,000 jobs in February—slightly below expectations—but the idea that Trump’s policies created those jobs is nonsense. His tariffs weren’t even in effect during the period covered by the jobs report. While Trump pointed to a 9,000 job increase in auto manufacturing, he ignored that Biden’s term saw a net gain of 47,000 auto jobs overall. Manufacturing jobs actually grew under Biden, with a net gain of 610,000 during his presidency. Trump also cherry-picked job numbers to claim “1 in 4 jobs under Biden was a government job,” when the real figure over Biden’s entire presidency was just 11%, mostly at the state and local level.

Impact on New Jersey:
New Jersey’s workers deserve real economic solutions, not cherry-picked numbers and broken promises. Manufacturing jobs here rely on stable trade policies, not erratic tariffs that raise costs and threaten growth. Trump’s attempt to rewrite the economic record doesn’t change the facts: jobs grew under Biden, and Trump’s policies could put that progress at risk.

New Jersey’s Democratic leaders are stepping up to fill the void left by Republican Congressmembers who refuse to engage with their constituents through traditional town halls. While Representatives Jeff Van Drew, Tom Kean Jr., and Chris Smith avoid in-person events, citing concerns over “intimidation” and “political misuse,” Senator Andy Kim is showing what real leadership looks like. He is hosting town halls directly in their districts, giving their constituents the platform they’ve been denied. Senator Kim’s efforts are part of a larger trend of Democratic officials, like Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman and former Rep. Tom Malinowski, holding events in GOP held districts to ensure New Jerseyans’ voices are heard, even when their own representatives won’t listen. Meanwhile, Republican members cower behind scripted tele-town halls and handpicked audiences, dodging accountability to protect their own political comfort.
