Here’s the thing: our nation’s poultry farmers are facing a worsening crisis as bird flu spreads unchecked. And the Trump administration seems to be asleep at the wheel — shutting down key communications from the FDA, and providing zero leadership on an issue impacting our farms and families.

From the past couple months, it seems that this administration’s economic agenda essentially boils down to higher prices for American families and tax breaks for the extremely wealthy. On top of all that, President Trump just announced hefty new tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China—imposing 25% duties on Canadian and Mexican exports, and a 10% levy on Chinese goods. Canada has already hit back with retaliatory tariffs of 25% on $155 billion worth of U.S. products, escalating an unnecessary trade dispute. These tariffs threaten critical industries—from automotives and semiconductor firms to consumer goods, basic materials, and green energy—leading to even higher costs for everyday Americans.

We need an administration that addresses urgent crises—from the bird flu outbreak to soaring grocery prices—with real leadership. So far President Trump has been MIA in confronting the critical challenges facing our nation. Thanks for anything you can chip in to help us fight back!
