This week, Congress extended telehealth flexibilities for Medicare beneficiaries until September 30 of this year.

 

The initial expansion of telehealth coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in beneficiaries receiving access to care in their homes as well as expanding the abilities of different types of providers to offer virtual care.
