Protecting Students and Empowering Parents
John,
This week has been yet another incredible week for conservative Hoosiers and
Americans across the county, with big changes coming both at home and in D.C.
The week began with Governor Braun signing an executive order addressing the
rising tide of antisemitism on our campuses. Governor Braun has made clear that
Indiana will not tolerate antisemitic discrimination or intimidation within our
state institutions or anywhere else.
To close the week, Governor Braun attended the historic signing of President
Trump's executive officially moving to disband the Department of Education.
Governor Braun expressed his enthusiasm for the long-awaited order, emphasizing
that Hoosier parents, not Washington bureaucrats, should have the power to
determine the best educational path for their children.
At the Indiana GOP HQ, we are proud to stand alongside President Trump,
Governor Braun, and the rest of our conservative leaders as they work
tirelessly to deliver freedom and prosperity for all Americans, and this week
has once again highlighted their strength and resolve.
As always, thank you for being a part of our team. Please feel free to reach
out if there's anything I can assist with.
Lana Keesling, Indiana GOP Chairwoman

Governor Braun Signs Executive Order to Review Higher Education Antisemitism
Response and Policies
Governor Mike Braun last Friday, signed an executive order to review the
policies of Indiana’s state educational institutions regarding antisemitism and
their response to any acts of antisemitism following the October 7 terrorist
attacks against Israel, reiterating Indiana’s support for its Jewish community
and condemning antisemitic acts of discrimination and harassment.
What he said: “A wave of antisemitism across the country began over a year ago
with the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack against Israel, with universities
often at the epicenter of these incidents. With this executive order, we are
making it clear that Indiana will not tolerate antisemitic discrimination at
our state institutions or anywhere else — Jewish Hoosiers should know the state
of Indiana condemns antisemitism and stands with them.”
