Dear Illinois Republican Family,

March 27 is the deadline for election authorities to receive vote-by-mail applications for local elections. April 1 is Election Day, and your vote is crucial in shaping your community’s future. Too often, Republicans sit out local elections, allowing the Left to take control of school boards, city councils, and other key offices. These elections have real consequences—higher taxes, soft-on-crime policies, and radical agendas in our schools. Don’t let others decide for you. Vote early or on April 1.

If we are complacent, Illinois Democrats will continue pushing out-of-touch policies that hurt working families. Let’s be clear about what The Homeschool Act really is—a blatant attempt by Illinois Democrats to strip parents of their right to homeschool and insert government into our homes. Politicians in Springfield have no right to dictate how we educate our children. The ILGOP and 40,000 families who filed witness slips will fight tooth and nail to stop this attack on parental rights.

Illinois schools are forcing our girls to undress in front of men and Illinois Democrats refuse to stand up for them. This sets up a dangerous precedent and is a direct attack on our daughters and school age girls. Illinois Democrats don't care about you, They only care about wasting money, turning cities into sanctuaries for illegal immigrants, and shielding criminals. They continue to push for policies that allow child sex offenders to reside closer to your children's schools, promote the legalization of illicit drug use, and support attacks against police officers. They prioritize their agenda over your safety and well-being.

For the past two years, Brandon Johnson and Chicago Democrats have emboldened antisemitic rhetoric and attacks against the Jewish community. The Illinois Republican Party fully supports the Federal Task Force to Combat Antisemitism’s investigation into how Johnson and Chicago Democrats fueled antisemitism on college campuses and beyond.

Following Hamas’s brutal October 7, 2023, terrorist attack, antisemitic incidents in Chicago spiked dramatically—part of a 200% nationwide increase. As violence escalated, Democrats, including Johnson’s own aides, inflamed tensions and criticized Israel.

Remember what Illinois Democrats did during the worst attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust:

Brandon Johnson cast the tie-breaking vote calling for a ceasefire while downplaying Hamas’s atrocities.
Illinois Democrats blamed Israel for denying Palestinians “basic human rights” after Hamas’s deadly assault.
Brandon Johnson refused to stop anti-Israel protests on college campuses.
JB Pritzker declared for “both sides’ rights” while failing to condemn campus protests disrupting operations.
Illinois Democrats in Washington voted against aid to Israel while backing aid to Ukraine.

And while Johnson stokes division, he’s also mismanaging Chicago’s finances—again. The latest victims? City Hall contractors, who are now being forced to take a minimum 3% pay cut to help cover Chicago’s bloated budget.

This backroom deal, hidden from taxpayers, is just another anti-business move from the most incompetent mayor’s office in Chicago history. Even Chicago Aldermen are pushing back, calling it a “bad idea” and asking, “Who’s getting the 3% whack next week?”

Meanwhile, Johnson and 26 Aldermen have already tied an anchor around Chicago’s neck by approving a $17.1 BILLION budget they can’t pay for. The consequences of this reckless spending rest squarely on their shoulders.

Illinois Republicans, it’s time to take action. Vote early or on April 1. Let’s stop the radical Left from destroying our communities.

Competing in Critical Initiatives: Last election cycle, the Democrats invested nearly $20 million in early voting, VBM, and GOTV initiatives, while we could allocate only approximately $400,000. This disparity greatly affected the outcomes of many close races. However, Republicans made significant gains in early voting and utilizing VBM as more Republicans embraced voting before Election Day, thanks to the efforts of our first Bank Your Vote gala.

2024 Results: Republicans were the only voting group who increased their share of mail/early voters from 2020 to 2024.

The Illinois Republican Party increased Republican mail and early vote turnout by 35%.
1 in 4 low propensity Republicans voted before Election Day–the highest percentage in Illinois history.
Low propensity Republicans voted early and by mail at a higher rate than unreliable Democrats for the first time in IL history, outperforming them by 7.6%.
