John, YOU made national news!

Over 500 people showed up to our town hall in Tacoma on a Friday night — and on a rainy Saturday morning, hundreds more came to our town hall in Bremerton. The theater filled up in minutes with a long line of people still waiting outside.

But instead of turning anyone away, we decided to host TWO town halls that day. I wanted to make sure I heard from everyone who took time out of their day to be there.

I heard from nearly 2,000 constituents in two days — veterans, federal workers, active duty service members, young people, seniors, and community members from all walks of life. Over the last few days, we have heard from over 1,000 people in Port Angeles and Aberdeen.

My Democratic colleagues are seeing huge crowds at town halls across the country. Meanwhile, D.C. Republicans are telling lawmakers to stop holding public events due to the widespread anger over DOGE, the betrayal of Ukraine, the threats to Medicaid, and more.

They refuse to stand up to Musk and Trump’s destruction, and they refuse to face the people they’re supposed to serve. It’s another reason I’m organizing to flip the handful of seats we need to take back the House.
