Dear Colleague,

It was a wild and wooly two week UN Commission on the Status of Women. It ended up with the United States and Argentina taking the unusual step in refusing to join a political declaration negotiated during the Commission. Feminists lustily booed when the U.S. said no to the declaration. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. has the details.

The heretical group "Catholics" for Choice offered a blistering attack on the Holy See at the UN this week. Their attack might very well result in the group losing their UN status since it is against the rules of the UN for such groups to offer political attacks on members of the General Assembly. Iulia-Elena Cazan has the story.

Iulia and her team at the International Youth Coalition (IYc) have a detailed report on what they saw and heard at the UN these past two weeks during what is the largest feminist gathering of the year at the UN.

Congratulations to the C-Fam team for all their hard work: Lisa Correnti, Stefano Gennarini, Rebecca Oas, Iulia-Elena Cazan, and Daniela Garcia!

All of our work these past two weeks cost us roughly $20,000. Please help defray our expenses at www.c-fam.org/donate.

Spread the word. Be daring. Keep the faith.

Yours sincerely,

Austin Ruse
President

U.S. Refuses to Join Declaration at UN Commission on Women

By Stefano Gennarini, J.D.

NEW YORK, March 21 (C-Fam) Feminists likely paid by Western governments booed when U.S. and Argentinian diplomats defended women’s rights and opposed gender ideology at the end of the annual UN conference on women’s issues today. They cheered for an EU statement in favor gender ideology instead. Read more >>

“Catholics for Choice” Risks UN Status by Launching Attack on UN Observer State

By Iulia-Elena Cazan

NEW YORK March 21 (C-Fam) Catholics for Choice openly attacked the Vatican at a UN Women’s Conference, calling the Holy See a “threat to religious freedom and women’s rights” and asking for its removal from the UN. Such a hostile act against a UN member state could cost Catholics for Choice its UN consultative status. Read more >>
