National Domestic Workers Alliance

============================

Threats to care and our communities are escalating —and we want to check in.

From mass deportation plans, to threatened Medicaid cuts, to the dismantling of policies and programs that support racial and gender equity, we are facing increased threats to the policies and resources that help families and workers thrive. It’s a lot to take in, and we know that people across this movement are feeling it in different ways.

So tell us: How are you feeling about the fight ahead?

Are you fired up and ready to take action? Do you need space to regroup? However you’re feeling, we’re listening —because this movement is powered by you. Take our short survey and let us know where you stand. [[link removed]]

Whether you are a care worker or a caregiver providing care for your family, aging adults, or loved ones with disabilities, we need leaders who commit to protecting access to health care for the 72 million people who rely on Medicaid across the country.

It’s time for our leaders to remember who they work for. So no matter where you stand today [[link removed]] , you are part of this care community, and we are in this fight together.

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
