Dear A.,

President Trump "fully supports Israel and the IDF and the actions that they have taken in recent days," the White House press secretary
[link removed]
said yesterday, adding: "This situation is completely the fault of Hamas when they launched that brutal attack on Israel on October 7."

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz affirmed this as well,
[link removed]
saying : "Israel has every right to defend its people from Hamas terrorists. The ceasefire would have been extended if Hamas released all remaining hostages. Instead, they chose war."

Israel continues to increase the military pressure on Hamas to secure the release of additional hostages and destroy Hamas' terror capabilities.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz
[link removed]
said today : "If the Hamas terror organization continues to refuse to release the captives, I instructed the IDF to capture additional areas, evacuate the population and expand the security zone around Gaza for the protection of Israeli communities through a permanent hold of the area."

"As long as Hamas continues its refusal, it will lose more and more land to Israel," Katz added.

This warning comes after the IDF initiated ground operations in Rafah in southern Gaza yesterday, and as it continues operations in northern and central Gaza.

Meanwhile, Hamas

launched more rockets into Israel today, forcing Israelis in and around Ashkelon into bomb shelters. Fortunately, Israel's air defense systems intercepted the rockets.

59 hostages, including 5 Americans, are still held in captivity by Hamas in Gaza.

The United States must continue to stand unwaveringly with Israel and increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Iran, Qatar and Turkey to release the hostages.

Major test of Iron Dome system demonstrates enhanced capabilities

Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system successfully completed a series of tests yesterday that demonstrated "a significant leap in the system's performance and ability to counter evolving regional threats," Israel's Ministry of Defense

said .

The tests evaluated the system’s effectiveness against advanced threats, including rockets, cruise missiles and drones, applying "lessons learned" during Israel's ongoing multi-front war against Iran and its terrorist proxies.

"The Israel Missile Defense Organization is continuously enhancing the Iron Dome’s capabilities—on both land and sea—even while operating under fire in wartime conditions," the organization's director Moshe Patel
[link removed]
said , adding that the tests "further reinforce our confidence in the system’s ability to safeguard Israel and its people."

The lifesaving Iron Dome system is supported by $500 million in U.S.-Israel cooperative missile defense funding that AIPAC lobbies Congress to pass each year. This investment helps make both America and Israel safer.

U.S. and Israel to hold high-level meeting on Iran

A senior Israeli delegation is

expected to visit the White House early next week for meetings about Iran, following a letter sent by President Trump to the Iranian regime reportedly giving Tehran a two-month window to negotiate a new nuclear deal.

The war in Gaza and the Israel-Lebanon negotiations over their disputed border are also expected to be discussed.

The Israeli delegation will include Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi, and will meet with American officials led by National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

Two found guilty in Iranian plot to assassinate dissident

A jury found two men
[link removed]
guilty of plotting to assassinate Iranian-American journalist Masih Alinejad at her home in New York City, in a scheme organized by Iran.

Following the verdict, acting U.S. Attorney Matthew Podolsky
[link removed]
said :

"For years, the Government of Iran has attempted to silence an outspoken Iranian journalist, author, activist and critic of their regime through any means necessary, including harassment, violence, intimidation, and even attempted murder.

Chillingly, the plot to murder this Iranian dissident culminated over 6,000 miles from Iran, on U.S. soil, right here in New York, when a hitman with an AK-47 camped outside her home to kill her...

This verdict should send a clear message around the world: if you target U.S. citizens, we will find you, no matter where you are, and bring you to justice."

Iranian intelligence officials began plotting in 2020 to kidnap Alinejad from the U.S. and bring her to Iran. When that scheme failed, Iran offered $500,000 to assassinate her, enlisting alleged members of the Russian mob to do so.

On October 7, 49-year-old Yoaz Hendel couldn't sit by and not fight for his country. Neither could the group of men and women he recruited for a new IDF reservist battalion made out of former Special Unit soldiers — all above the age of 40.

Sirens sounded over Jerusalem as Houthi terrorists launched another ballistic missile at Israel.

Hamas refused to extend the ceasefire deal. Hamas refused to release the hostages. Hamas chose to prolong this war.
