Victoria Bus Station closure from Monday

Our project to improve safety at Victoria Bus Station [ [link removed] ] as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan, means that the bus station will be completely closed from Monday 24 March - Sunday 30 March, re-opening Monday morning 31 March.

During this time, resurfacing will take place on York Street, Union Road and all ten bus bays. The pedestrian walkway through the bus station will be open as usual until midnight nightly.

The car park is unaffected during the daytime but the York Street access entrance and Union Road exit will be closed between 8pm and 6am starting Monday evening.

Please check with your operator for alternative stops to use to catch your bus while the bus station is closed.

tramworks

NET are carrying out tramworks from 12 - 16 April, so trams will stop running at Nottingham Station and Old Market Square respectively, meaning the Lace Market stop will be completely out of action.

Lady Bay path closure for bridge project
path

The footpath between the playparks off Holme Road and the river, on the south side of the river, will be closed from Monday 24 March until late April while its being upgraded as part of the bridge project. The stone path will be replaced by a three-metre tarmac path

NET travel centre to close permanently

The operators of Nottingham's tram system have announced that its travel centre will close permanently from next week.

NET says that the facility in King Street will close its doors on Tuesday 25 March. More here [ [link removed] ].
