The last year has been epic. Together, we’ve achieved so much.

And while more work is needed to reclaim our waters from the polluters, it’s important to take stock of how far we’ve come and celebrate some BIG wins! 🎉

In 2024:

🌊 70 communities achieved official bathing water designation through our Protecting Wild Waters campaign

✊ 15,000 people attended the March for Clean Water protest in London

🤝 51 MPs joined our Water Pollution All Party Parliamentary Group

📋 29,130 people signed our #BanTheBailouts petition

🚯 118,288 volunteers ran 4,918 cleans to remove 81,076 kg of rubbish from beaches, rivers and more

👩‍🏫 3,938 schools signed up to become a Plastic Free School

These are just some of the ways that people power is transforming the water sector and fighting the polluters!

How can you help?

Achievements like these rely on incredible supporters, like you, who are willing to take a stand.

It’s clear that our actions are having a big impact. But we won’t stop until everyone has the right to clean, safe waters—year-round.

So, John, will you help protect the UK's wild waters by becoming an SAS member, today?

Yes! I will help fund your ocean-saving campaigns 🙋‍♀️ [[link removed]]

We're a charity. And that means our campaigns, resources, tools and our successes are only made possible by those that fund us.

The momentum is with us and we can feel the tide turning on the sewage scandal. And this year we have even bigger plans to drive transformational change.

For the cost of a cup of coffee each month, you can help fuel this!

Can you help us keep the up pressure to end sewage pollution, for good?

Yes, sign me up as a member! [[link removed]]

Thank you so much for your support !

Whether you're able to join or not. Our successes are shared successes and we couldn't do what we do without you.

For the ocean,

Team SAS 🌊
