In the Himalayan region, our Waterkeeper groups are on the frontlines, fighting to protect rivers fed by glaciers that are disappearing due to climate change. From Bhutan to Nepal to India, these glaciers are melting at an alarming rate.
At Waterkeeper Alliance, we are taking action to support Waterkeepers across the Himalayas and beyond to protect the rivers, lakes, and coastlines around the world that people rely on to drink safely, cook meals, and grow the food that feeds their families.
