We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual on a full-time basis (37 hours) to provide administrative support to the Early Help Team situated at one of our Children's Centres across the city.

The service supports the Early Help Team to provide the right help at the right time to improve the outcome of children and families. Services are provided in the Community at a range of venues including Children?s Centres and Community Venues.

Nottingham City Council is keen to continually invest and develop its employees, to that end we have introduced a range of apprenticeship qualifications that we are attaching to various roles across the authority. This role attracts the L3 Business Administrator qualification and should you be appointed, and meet the relevant eligibility criteria, you will be placed on this programme. Additional details of the Apprenticeship programme will be provided on appointment to the role.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work flexibly and with minimal supervision, planning and prioritising own workload.
  • Experience of undertaking a range of business support duties.
  • Ability to work in a confidential and politically sensitive environment.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Understanding of the importance of excellent customer care.
  • Willingness to work on a rota to meet the needs of the service and ensure adequate office cover.
