Iran-backed terrorist groups continued to
[link removed]
attack Israel today, as Hamas continues to reject a U.S.-backed proposal to release additional hostages in exchange for a ceasefire.


Hamas launched three rockets at central Israel from southern Gaza for the first time in over five months.


One of the rockets was intercepted by Israel's missile defense systems, while the other two struck open areas.


Senator John Fetterman (D-PA), who was in Israel during the attack,

said : "I had the opportunity to visit the missile battery part of Israel’s Iron Dome. The same defense system that intercepted these rockets. I will continue to support whatever Israel needs to confront this cowardly terrorism."


Hamas' attack came the same day the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen launched
[link removed]
two ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, sending millions of Israelis into bomb shelters.


Just like the Houthi ballistic missile launched on Tuesday night, they were intercepted before entering Israeli airspace.


Meanwhile, the IDF is expanding its ground operation in northern Gaza and carrying out additional airstrikes on terror targets in the enclave.


The IDF also issued an evacuation warning for the Bani Suheila area of southern Gaza, from where the rockets were launched.


The IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman said it was the "final warning" before the IDF carries out strikes there, adding: "Terror organizations are once again launching their rockets from within civilian areas."
Israel continues to face a multi-front war against Iran and its terrorist proxies, including Hamas and the Houthis.

The United States must continue to stand with Israel for as long as it takes and increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Iran and Turkey to release the 59 hostages, including 5 Americans, still held in captivity in Gaza.

U.S. designates Chinese port for violating Iran oil sanctions

For the first time, the Treasury Department today
[link removed]
sanctioned a Chinese refinery and a port facility for processing Iranian oil.


The sanctions target an "oil refinery and its chief executive officer for purchasing and refining hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of Iranian crude oil, including from vessels linked to the Foreign Terrorist Organization, Ansarallah, commonly known as the Houthis, and the Iranian Ministry of Defense of Armed Forces Logistics."


"[These] refinery purchases of Iranian oil provide the primary economic lifeline for the Iranian regime, the world’s leading state sponsor of terror," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said. "The United States is committed to cutting off the revenue streams that enable Tehran’s continued financing of terrorism and development of its nuclear program."


In addition, Treasury sanctioned "19 entities and vessels responsible for shipping millions of barrels of Iranian oil, comprising part of Iran’s 'shadow fleet' of tankers," according to the press release.

AIPAC thanks the administration for taking this important step to increase the economic pressure on Iran and its terrorist proxies.


Last year, Congress passed the AIPAC-backed SHIP Act, mandating sanctions on ports and refineries handling Iranian oil.
