“School lunch debt” is a term so absurd that it shouldn't even exist. 🙅♂️
John’s leading the fight to cancel school meal debt across the country – because it’s long past time we stop humiliating kids.
Just last week, John introduced a new bill to pay off ALL student meal debt and grant the USDA new authority to purchase food for food banks.
Because, at the end of the day, kids should have healthy food – and working families shouldn’t have to worry about their children going to bed hungry.
But if this bill is gonna have a chance of making it through a Republican-controlled Congress, we need to build a huge tidal wave of support. Will you add your name in support of John’s bill today and help us get more kids fed?

There are more than 20 million kids who can’t afford school lunch, and their debt is $176 million each year.
Hell, in Pennsylvania alone we have nearly half a million hungry kids who owe $234 million.
