Gov. Pillen Appoints Lindberg as District Court Judge in the Fourth Judicial District

 

LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Jim Pillen announced his appointment of Ryan M. Lindberg of Omaha as the district court judge in the Fourth Judicial District. That district consists of Douglas County. Lindberg has been with the Douglas County Attorney’s office since 2009 where he has served in both the juvenile and criminal divisions. Before that, he worked for the firm of Engles, Ketcham, Olson & Keith in Omaha.

Lindberg is a board member and legislative co-chair of the Nebraska County Attorney Association (NECAA).

Lindberg has a degree in secondary education from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL). He earned his juris doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

The judicial vacancy is due to the retirement of Judge W. Russell Bowie.
