Across the political spectrum, Arizonans are worried about the cost of prescription medication.
More than 60% of survey respondents have said that they are worried or very worried about being able to afford medications they or a loved one may need.
In the last 5 years, Pharmacy Benefit Managers ( price-gouging middlemen negotiating on behalf of pharmaceutical companies ) have pocketed over $7 billion for shareholders by hiking up prices for critical medication.
Arizonans deserve affordable and accessible healthcare. These price-gouging middlemen put people over profits and make our communities less healthy.
Arizona legislators have the opportunity to hold these middlemen accountable, will you add your name and DEMAND your lawmakers to take action to make prescription medication affordable? [[link removed]]

The cost of prescription drugs is 2.5 times higher in the United States than in other countries. Price-gouging middlemen are hiking up prices of prescription drugs for their own profit and forcing Arizonans to make tradeoffs to afford their medicine, like foregoing bills.
We’re calling on lawmakers to put a stop to the unconscionable increase to the medications we need to live. So please, if you’re with us in this fight, sign on today. [[link removed]]
