Hi John,

It might be cliche to say in March as we see all the college hoops action, but the madness of this month and the past 59 days in Washington is real. I wanted to share an update directly from me on what we’re seeing and how I’m fighting for us.

From Wall Street to Main Street, Americans are experiencing chaos, confusion, and challenges because of Donald Trump’s actions. We’ve seen a focus on culture war issues and an assault on government functions but no work by Republicans to address Americans’ high cost of living.

Even worse, Republicans in Congress are sprinting towards massive cuts to health care for people in our communities so billionaires receive a massive tax giveaway.

I’ve been fighting back by educating people about the real impacts these choices have had on our neighbors, agitating in public forums, supporting the leaders litigating in our courts, and legislating to get our opponents on the record for standing against the American people. I’m on this journey for the long haul.

I try not to bother you with too many emails, but I am asking for your help to keep up this essential work.

Your contributions enable me to focus on the work of holding Trump and House Republicans accountable. We must do everything possible to lower costs, prevent cuts to health care, and make clear that there is a better way.
