First: Tina Peters compromised her own election equipment to further Trump’s Big Lie.
Then: She was found guilty in a free and fair trial by a jury of peers and sentenced to 9 years of incarceration for her crimes.
Now: Trump’s Department of Justice is taking an unprecedented step in reviewing her conviction.
This is just more of the same from Trump. One of his first acts as president was pardoning those who stormed the Capitol, and it is clear he is continuing to do what he can to push the Big Lie and spread misinformation.
Tina Peters broke the law – and she was fairly tried and sentenced for her crimes.
