Take Action: Tell the Senate how you feel about their vote to pass the Musk budget >>
John, last week, Congress voted to essentially give Elon Musk and Donald Trump a blank check to keep attacking our schools, our hospitals, and our Social Security.
Since January, we’ve seen Musk and his so-called “DOGE” wreak havoc on essential government programs and services. That’s why a majority of voters wanted guardrails in this bill to stop him – but instead of sticking up for what the people want, certain politicians in Congress let us all down. [1]
That’s right, after weeks of Elon Musk’s slash and burn tactics against our federal agencies, Senator John Fetterman and Senator David McCormick voted to move the bill forward without any guardrails on Musk, Trump, or DOGE.
Make no mistake, this is a total surrender to Musk’s hostile takeover of our government. But your senators shouldn’t be accountable to an unelected billionaire, they should be accountable to you.
So, let’s make sure they hear from us. Tell the Senate: I'm disappointed with your vote to advance the Musk budget and demand you fight back against Trump and Musk’s slash and burn campaign >>
Let’s be clear: anyone who voted to move this bill forward has signed their name to the Trump-Musk agenda of mass firings, cuts to vital services, and tax breaks for the rich.
This is bigger than just the government funding bill – this is about protecting our democracy and the public services that everyday Americans rely on from a hostile takeover.
Trump and Musk have made it clear they want to dismantle the systems that protect the American people. Whether it’s our social safety net or even our basic right to speak out against injustice, they seem to be determined to tear it all down.
We MUST be able to rely on our elected representatives to fight back against any illegal and unconstitutional actions taken by Musk and his cronies.
John, if you agree, tell John Fetterman and David McCormick: I fundamentally disagree with your vote to pass the Musk budget and demand that you do everything in your power to protect our nation from Musk’s attacks >>
We hope you’ll join us in holding our leaders accountable.
Thanks for all you do,
