Last week, a federal judge ruled in favor of Maryland’s motion for a temporary restraining order to require 18 federal agencies to halt the illegal mass layoffs of probationary employees and reinstate those employees fired. Attorney General Brown and 20 attorneys-general filed this lawsuit and motion to stop the illegal firings by DOGE.
I was proud to assist by providing a declaration explaining the damaging effect these layoffs would have on Maryland’s revenues, and the judge specifically cited my testimony - identifying that these firings will have a negative effect for the foreseeable future unless reversed.

These are challenging times for our country and for Maryland. Whether it’s speaking up at agencies to support our workers, assisting with motions in court, or ensuring I provide calm, competent leadership concerning our revenue projections - I’ll do all I can to ensure a stable future for our families, communities, and our state.
My best,

(She, Her, Hers)
